    Looking to get a new calico....

    What do u think about this low white calico....

    Not bad, but not one of the best I've seen. I focus more on coloring than the amount of white, and that one doesn't seem to have as much of the gold shading and bordering as the ones I prefer.

    Hey, if your into the low white go for it. Personally I would not get that calico, I like to have good examples of particular morphs in my collection and that does not appear to be a good looking calico IMO. I most certainly would not pay alot for it.

    The example above is also what I would look for. Kinda why I prefer a Sugar to a Calico. From my understanding though, a low white Calico can produce medium and high white ones.

    Calicos tend to get whiter as they get bigger. I would go for a better example of the morph if i were you. I prefer the flora and fauna stuff. I love my calicos. Check out jonathan at breedingcircle.com hes got some nice ones. Dan wolfe on kingsbake has some killer pastel calico stuff too.
