RIP 2 little P. Cambridgei slings

My first arachnid loss was discovered today when I was misting all the enclosures. Two of the three Psalmopoeus cambridgei slings I had gotten from a friend were in a death curl, all of a sudden. I have no idea what happened the third is alive and well, so at least I'll try to get that one to pull through, but the loss of these little guys definitely dampened my spirits...

Sorry for your loss, that's a bummer. Hope your remaining sling stays healthy for you. You have breeding plans for "it" or just one to have?

I was hoping to have a male and female among the three so I could breed, but now I think I'll just keep the last one as a pet if it end up being female.

Not to rub salt but that sucks even more in that case. Sorry to hear that and for your loss.

Are you positive they weren't molting? It's just something I always ask.. I know of people who almost threw away T's that were molting because the legs were curled.

No, they difinitely weren't molting. They were both in a classic death curl and had recently molted (in the last month).
