Re: Beginner Ball Python Beeding/morphs
First what do you have to breed next year? If you do not have anything are you buying breeding ready animals? Do you realize the amount of money those animals cost? I would sell a normal breeding ready female for $150 and a bumble bee male that is breeding ready for at least $1000. For a spider male ready to breed I would do about $300-$350 ish a male pastel about $150 and double those prices at the very least for a female that is breeding ready. Other than that i will not even attempt to tell someone else what to breed. Breed what you like and not what someone else likes.
*Disclaimer I am not attempting to sell any animals at all and I do not have anything listed for sale the intent was to show what the prices would be.*

Re: Beginner Ball Python Beeding/morphs
All depends on what you want to breed.
Pastel X Spider:
1/4 Normal
1/4 Spider
1/4 Pastel
1/4 Bumble Bee
Bumble Bee X Normal
1/4 Normal
1/4 Pastel
1/4 Spider
1/4 Bumble Bee
So you can see the odds are the same, just depends on if you want to buy a bumble bee up front or if you want to breed a spider to a pastel. When deciding what to breed I think the only person that can answer that is you.

i plan on spending about $1500 on breeding racks(rhino raxx) and $1500 on morphs, $500 for incubator, bedding, scale, thermostat, etc.
i will also try to do most of my shopping at a reptile expo if they have what i need.
is this enough?

Bumblebee to normal will get 1/4 spiders 1/4 pastels 1/4 normals and 1/4 bees
If you are spending that much money I think this will get you more morphs if you want.
-Make your own rack: melamine or plastic shelving rack
-Newspaper for substrate
-Morphs: a breeder females: Mojaves maybe 1400, 1200 the lowest Pastels 900 to 500 the lowest I know, and others like het pieds, het clowns, Not saying to buy all of these but like those are your options and yes i have seen people selling those that low and are from reputable breeders. Its what you want to breed.

spider and pastel are on different loci so it doesn't work like that.
as posted above you get 25% bee 25% pastel 25% spider 25% normal

Skip the normal female, do spider x pastel. Hope for a male bumblebee, then cross him back to the pastel for killer bees the next year.
