Do you think people like this mean to take away ALL of our hobby???? Don't you sometimes think we have way TOO MANY laws?

As an Iraq vet its really annoying when these college boy paper pushing punks try to tell me what I can and can't do. If they want my animals they r going to have to come thru my front door.
A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

I have an issue with this for a few reasons.
1 lets face it dogs attack people too yet we are allowed to keep those as pets.
2 many exotic animals arent doing well in the wild and zoos maybe the last place that certain species on this planet because we have raped the land of resources and of the animals themselves.
3 I want them to make a list of every single attack a dog, cat, other "people friendly" animal commits.

since when has this idea of "what if" or "it could happen" in a small number of cases become enough leverage to get laws put into place which take away our pursuit of happiness?

I just wish the government would let Darwin do his thing. I can understand caging requirements and maybe even permits for venomous snakes or maybe even snakes over a certain poundage, but that's about it. That is enough to reasonably protect other individuals without destroying the hobby (and in many cases, the thing people LIVE for) of pet owners.

    Bans are for fascists.
