    Help with shipping!

So i'm shipping a snake out tomorrow fedex. The closest place to me to drop off for fedex is "Fedex - --- Regional Hospital - Outside (Self-service). Could I drop it off there or what? If not, I can use UPS tell me what to do this is the only place and it's about 30 minutes away from me. Real Fedex place is about 3 hours away from me.

    Cheers

From what I understand, you can't ship reptiles thru UPS. FedEx is going to have to be your answer. But you just take the package and drop it off outside? I don't think I'd be comfortable with that, atleast here since the temps are only in the low 40's during the day.

It has a 72 hour heat pack, 1/2" insulation and around 50 outside tomorrow. Dropping it off at 4 and they pick up @ 4:15. Just wondering since it's an express thing if I can do that..

Not that they won't do it, but Fedex frowns upon scheduled pickups for reptiles. Maybe rules changed in the last few years, but when I became a certified shipper, reptiles had to be dropped off at a hub or major fedex site, not picked up by driver, and not to just any fedex location.

But why would you have even considered dropping it in a self service bin, ups, fedex, or any?

Just to correct myself: if you are using SYR, they offer pickup, but checked my old info and it states against this for individuals who are certified shippers.
