Cleaning driftwood

What's the best way to clean this stuff, or should I bother?? I've got F10, but that says not for pourous things. Help plz...

Heres what I do.

I bleach the driftwood with a bleach/water solution. Then I put it in the oven on a metal tray and bake it for an hour at 350.

That should take care of it.

10% bleach in water solution. Let it soak a while, then rinse thoroughly. Put it in the oven at 350 degrees for an hour. Of course make sure to let it cool before putting with the animals.

Wow, I have never heard of baking it, that's amazing!

I clean all of my hides, driftwood, water dish, plants by throwing them in the bathtub. I pour in a few cups of bleach and then fill the tub til everything is well submerged and soak for 20 min or so, then rise everything thoroughly under the running tap til it no longer smells like bleach. (Then I re bleach my tub and whole bathroom like there is no tomorrow.)

I let the wood air dry a while before putting it back, but then I just move my red bulb from over the water dish to over the wood and it dries pretty quick. Does wonders for the humidity!

I usually let the time when everything is drying again be playtime for me and Zola. I always clean 3-4 days after she has eaten, so she is in her best mood and ok with her home being uprooting and me cuddling her for a little longer than usual.
