    Anybody getting a Kindle Fire?

Just curious what you think about a nice little $200 media consumption device/tablet. Early reviews are overall pretty solid and I think I'm going to find myself at my local Best Buy early tomorrow.

Looks like an awesome device for $199!!! I've ordered one for my son.

Re: Anybody getting a Kindle Fire?

I got the Fire for Christmas and LOVE it! It goes most everywhere with me! And I participate on the discussions on Amazon and follow a daily thread where there are literally hundreds of free books offered daily. I've built quite the library of books and store them on the Amazon Kindle Cloud and download them as I need them.

    It's a solid product!

My wife has the kindle 3 with wifi, and since that fire has come out the hints have been flying. I may get one first just to see the look on her face
She would just kill me and plead insanity most likely.

I had a nook color before the kindle fire came out, it's been great and I use it all the time for movies and books, (music is not the best, an iPod is much better) but I probably would have gotten the fire if I didn't already have the nook. The fire certainly was a lot cheaper.
