    10 gallon aquarium or tub?

    So which do you guys think is better aquariums or tubs.and.what size.do.you recommended for a 1.3 ratio I'm buying tubs today so this is kinda important.

    I like tubs myself and if you have the room bigger will only be better. But the 54 (I think) quart tall sterilite type container works well

    There are advantages to both and disadvantages to both. The biggest I can see is heating, namely ambient and cool end temps. Tubs are very limited in the options available to cool end temp control especially in cool rooms. If you have one animal and plan on keeping only one and don't want to heat at room to 78-81ºF all the time I'd suggest a tank where there are more options.

    LOL it happens I'm mainly asking cuz I got an idea.to do to the.tubs. cut a top add a screen. Make a hole for water. I got a plan probably put pics to c what you.guys think. I just. Don't know if one brand is better than other. If I should go long or taller. I will be getting three tubs just need some help on what a good.size.

    For bins, i prefer more floor space, and less over-head space. Make sure you make basically the entire lid mesh, needed for air flow. Also, if you put a hole in the side for a watter bottle nozzle, try gluing a metal washer over the hole (so the holes line up) so that they can't chew the plastic.
