    Finally got my first BP!

As of 30 minutes ago, I am now the proud owner of my very first BP! I am pretty sure that it is a male, but will be scheduling a visit to the vet sometime next week to get him checked up and also get a 100% verification on the gender. I was totally expecting him to come out of the box hissing and snapping after the long drive - but to my surprise he was totally chill!

He was super timid at first, but after holding him for a couple of minutes and stroking him gently - he calmed down and started poking around like bonkers. His little tongue flicking a mile a minute!

Took me forever to get him into the tank because he decided that going up my sleeve was a fantastic idea. Lol.

Any ways, here is the first picture of him! Sorry for the quality, took it with my phone and turned the flash off so not to disturb him as he gets use to his tank.

Growing up, my all time favorite book has always been "The Jungle Book" -- so my intense urge to name him Kaa, came as no surprise.
Hopefully he, really is a he lol. But he has a fat and long tail, and when I felt it, I felt what seemed like little bulges. I refuse to pop and probe since I've never done it before D;.

LOL. I was talking to my mom on the phone about getting Kaa, and it went like this:

Mom: So how many are you getting?
    Me: Just this one.
    Mom: Ce'Ci....
    Me: Seriously, just this one?
Mom: Just like you were "seriously" only getting one piercing... and "seriously" only getting one tattoo?
    Me: Is it that obvious?
    Mom: Yes.

I have 24 piercings, and 4 tattoo's. Lol... and for each, I told my mom and myself I'd only get one.

She knows me way to well. I already have plan to get another one down the line, hopefully a female.

Yes, in the neighboring city. <3

I trust them, just I figured it wouldn't hurt to get it checked again when I take him to the vet next week. Just to be sure. Either way, boy or girl, I'm very happy with Kaa.

Congrats, great picture of him as well. He looks very content sitting there trying to hide.
