    death stalker

    I am interested in getting a death stalker or two for pets...does anyone know a great seller of these online? if so can you post the websites please and thank you.

    If you have never owned one, do not rush into it. That is the worst thing you can do. Own a few highly aggresive not so venomous ones first for atleast a year.

    definitly, in all seriousness, if you get stung by one of these, you cant just rest it off like with most scorpians, you actually need a hospital and anti-venin, their not anything to mess with, their name is litteral

    I owned one and they do "play dead". I almost got tagged finding this out the hard way.

    He was on his back motionless until I touched him with a stick and it flipped over and went into attack mode.

    check out arachnoboards.com. they are in the classified section all the time.

    on a side note, i don't care how cool you think you are, when working with species with venom strength your hands should never be any where around the animal. i have worked with animals close to this strenght and had a personal rule of no hands in the enclosure. not worth the risk and you are not cool because you held a death stalker.....just stupid.
