    Black Pastel Photoshoot

Here she is, such a calm BP hatchling. It will be interesting to see how her personality develops with age. She is another ball python I bought from Terry at Rainforest Reptiles. Her pattern was exactly what I was looking for in a black pastel. It would have been nice to have a solid black back but I think the few spot and tail stripe make her interesting, especially the key hole at the base of her neck.

The flash was too much on this one, but you can see how nice her back is.

    Key hole

"Quit flashing that light in my eyes!"

    I love her flames.

    Thanks for looking.

Thanks, I looked for months on kingsnake and faunaclassifieds for one with a nice black back and quality flames. I found many but every time they were male, and I only want females at this point. I lucked out for sure finding this girl from Terry, I have bought 5 snakes from him now, he's a great breeder.

Wow, she is a bueaty. I am hoping to pick one of these up soon. I like the first picture, like she is trying to hide her face. Awesome snake!

Thanks, I love the possibilities of these and the cinnamons. They are one of the only dark snakes I like. Being so small she is very skiddish when I first lift up her hide, but when I get her on my hand she is calm, and she eats like a pig. She will slither around a bit but not in a "GET ME OUTTA HERE" kind of way.
