It's all in the design really. I had a Droid x which is a 4.3 inch screen, I got a thunderbolt today which is the same size screen. I noticed the difference immediately when I put it in my front pocket.

The Droid was tall where the thunderbolt feels wider, the bolt feels heavier in the hand but it feels better holding it. The HTC size is perfect, I feel they can go up to 4.5 inch screen in this same package which would work great.

Well yeah, your Otterbox doubles the size of your phone anyway!

I also have the Thunderbolt and love it. Just broke down and got the extended battery for it. I thought I'd hate it, but I love it actually.

I honestly think that anything bigger than the iPhone is too big. I carry a phone in my pocket. I carry a laptop in my briefcase. No need to combine the two IMO.

EDIT: Sorry, just realized that I necro'd this thread. Need to look at the post date rather than what page its on... Grr...

(Might as well continue on lol)

I think that the iPhone screen is perfect, some of the huge android phones just are too big. Personally I love my iPhone 4, but my favorite phone of all time as far as feel goes is the original iPhone. They are the same size more or less, but the first generation iPhone had rounded edges that fit my hand much better. I don't have the biggest hands, but they aren't small either and I find some of these android phones to be uncomfortable to hold for any length of time.

I think that apple has the right idea (if the rumors pan out to be true) with the next iPhone with a taller screen (keeping the current width).
