    Breeding crickets step by step.

Hello all. im kinda new to the breeding your own food industry. i breed mealworms, mice, and rats successfully but i cant get crickets to breed. Every time i try i get massive die offs. Would someone explain in detail how to breed crickets and if possible include pictures? Thanks

I breed superworms and roaches. I feel like between the two that completely replaces crickets. I do not/have not bred crickets but I have heard it is not easy compared to the other feeders. Are roaches an option for your animals and where you live?

Sorry I couldn't be more of a help.

Hmm. i am attempting to breed superworms. that is going ok. my main problems with roaches have been what to feed them. Also they are a little pricey. but they sound better. could you give a detailed breeding plan for roaches and super worms. thanks

What are you feeding these bugs to?

Roaches will eat... everything. They are quiet and don't smell like crickets. Here is a great care sheet for them.

    And one for super worms

It takes a while for both to become a sustainable colony, but completely worth it as they cost next to nothing to raise and feed.

Depends on where you are. I haven't ordered any online, bought from someone local.
