I picked up my dubia colony today!

I got them up from Aaron Pauling at the Tucson Reptile Show. I got a 200 mixed lot and 12 adults, 10 females and 2 males.

Here is his website: http://www.aaronpauling.com/ I'd recommend him to anyone.

Let me know what you think of my setup. I can't wait to have nice healthy roaches for my crested geckos and bearded dragon to eat.

I believe it is a 66qt tub, I spray painted the outside to make it darker for them. The clear tubs seem to have smoother sides than the colored tubs.

Nice man! I'm going to need a small colony some day when my T's are larger. I can't stand crickets. They are like the mice of feeder bugs.

    Regards,

    B

That's the whole reason why I got them again. Crickets are the devil! With 10 crested geckos coming soon I need something to feed them all, plus the bearded dragon is a dumpster.

Man, I love how these things clean out the left over crested gecko diet. By looking at the milk caps you wouldn't even think they needed to be washed! I'm so happy I have a colony again. I'm still not a big fan of having them crawl on me, but I'm working on it...

    Thanks,

That's one of the reasons how I got my girlfriend to agree. She loves our bearded dragon and the cost of feeders really adds up, especially if you start with a hatchling.
