    Beautiful Bella!

My boyfriend has a sweet cockatiel that he loves like his own child. He handraised her as a very small chick(the so-ugly-it's-cute and spiky feathers and all! ) and she has been with him for about 6 years now!

I took some cute pictures of her today, I thought I'd share!

We're very happy she's doing great right now. She has been laying a CRAZY amount of eggs this year, and is finally done with the ordeal. At one point she had 22 she would not stop laying on! I think she wants to be a mom

I don't know anything about cockatiels, can anyone tell me anything about her color/pattern? She doesn't look like any of our friend's cockatiels, she's much 'softer' looking, and seems to have boyishly bright cheeks! At least from what I've seen from images.

She wouldn't stop singing too me while I took these pictures. I think she enjoyed seeing her reflection in the camera!

And she knows it too!!! I hope I was able to capture her sweet curiosity..as well as her ridiculous prissiness! She is a reincarnation of a spoiled princess, I swear!

She is a "Cinnamon Pearl" color mutation.

Very healthy looking girl. Im glad you got the laying situation handled. That always is a hard time for people with hens. Just make sure she has a solid diet with lots of calcium!
Thats a cute story thanks for sharing.

She always has gone crazy when it's time to lay, but this year was the craziest! She has a very varied diet and plenty of calcium for sure. We could never let anything happen to Nathan's baby girl. He feels like a proud dad every time she lays a little egg

Thanks for answering the question about her genetics! I thought she might have pearl in her, but I knew something else was weird about her color for it to just be that.

I bred cockatiels for 5 years, they are a joy to have and are such little clowns.

Awww I bet that was a blast! They are so funny. My favorite thing bella does is when she decides she'd rather get somewhere by walking. She mumbles to herself as she waddles along. It's so adorable!
