Definitely a pastel, and I don't think it looks like a bad one considering it looks like an older BP. I absolutely love the pattern.

Older pastels frequently brown out, and that guy's colors aren't really too bad for an older pastel. Looks like he scraped his head up crawling under something, but that should disappear after a few sheds if the object he did it on is removed.

    Re: Identification please

Thank you everyone. He isn't old. Last year hatch. About 600 grams currently guess he browned out awfully early huh? Also the head isn't from an injury. He hatched out with a very very pale head like that. I have had him since he was 100 grams. There were a few from the guys clutch that had the paled out heads. The browning parts has just moved in recently. Thank you so much for clarifying his morph. I didn't think he was a light normal but thought I would ask those who could say for sure.

I would not say he browned out awfully early.. the fact is that 90% of pastels produced these days look like that at a year or just over a year old, if not browner.

Kinda says something about the pastels produced these days.

I think the head is just faded, I don't see any injury or old scarring there, just different colored scales.

Actually looking at him for a second time, he's quite a looker compared to most pastels out there. They really are a lot less yellow than people think they are, especially when we are inundated with constant pictures of killer blasts super pastel lesser hypos and the like.
