Irian Jayas - housing - feeding etc

From the research I did, I was told these are the smallest out of all of the carpet pythons.

I'm sure they are housed some what similarly (sp) to other carpets but I'd still like to know housing requirements from the baby size to the adult size from those who have this particular carpet species please and thank you.

i was also told these snakes max out at 7 feet.

If I house them in a tub I did the heat tape around the sides correct? because a CHE will melt the plastic right?

I did read too that you can start these guys out on rats but id never heard of a carpet python rat as its first meal not even its fifth meal...are all species of the carpets different in this aspect as far as mice/rats?

All help/info is welcomed please and thank you

This is about the best place that I have found for info on Carpet Python care and housing, and this is the guideline that I use for my IJ. Hope it helps...
