Can I use my FedEx account so I they can bill me directly?

Hi All. I'm buying a ball python from a breeder (A Fedex certified reptile shipper). I have a Fedex account with a pretty good discount. But I’m not a certified reptile shipper.

Can I give the breeder my Fedex account # and have it "billed to recipient"? Will there be a problem with the transaction?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I think that's against their terms and conditions in a fairly big way.

Maybe he could use shipyourreptiles? Or whatever that is called these days?

I've done it before.. I don't see why not. It really depends on how well you trust the person. If you give your account # to them, you have to trust they will not use it ever again. If they give you theirs, they have to trust you will never use it again.

It is ShipYourReptiles.com, always has been : )

We have an FAQ at our site on how to book a label, and then email it to another party, in the case that you are having a shipment come back to yourself, for instance. Pretty straightforward procedure, and we can walk you through it by phone if you need.

You don't have to be FedEx certified to use our site, but you do have to meet our shipping standards and guidelines, as related to packaging standards, weather parameters, etc.

IF you were fed ex certified to ship reptiles then you would use your acct to book a shipment from the seller to yourself and email the shipper the label to print out. as robin said you can do the same with shipyourreptiles.com they have a pretty good discount as well. i have a fedex acct but since i dont ship all that often i lost my discount. i always use shipyourreptiles.com now.
