I can't tell from those pictures, they are really bad with the lighting or something, or maybe they are edited. But from what I can tell from the pictures he doesn't look like a pastel to me, not even a low end one. But then again maybe better pictures would tell a different story.

I think it is. I hatched one that looked very similar a couple years ago. Look at the browning out line midway down the body, green eyes, flames, etc. It's just one of those unusual ones with no blushing. It will be dark orange as an adult and very browned out on the top half.

Tell the seller you are very interested in that pastel and you wonder if you could get a photo of the belly.. That should tell you for sure but I believe it is one. If I had it, I would only breed it to something very light to avoid increasing the darkness of it.

If your looking for a pastel why don't you just get a nice male, one that you know is a pastel for sure? They are relatively inexpensive and if that is a pastel I'm not sure how great he will look as an adult. Just a thought.

If it is a pastel it's not one worth breeding, PASSS

Why would you sell a nice pastel and then turn around and buy an inferior one?
