    help getting cham to lay eggs

    i have a abanja female panther vhameleon and a male. they mated about a month or two ago and female still has not laid eggs. i have a tub of vermclusite however u spell it lol. and its at the bottum of the cage. will post pics soon.

    You dont need vermiculite for her laying bin...thats for the eggs to incubate in after shes laid the eggs!! Goto the petstore and tell them you need sand for a laying bin...wash it out and make it moist enough that you can build a sand castle in it!! Put it into a bin that is 12 to 18 inches deep at the bottom of her cage!! If you start to see her go down to the bottom of her cage cover her cage up with a peep hole so that you can keep an eye on her while she is digging! Try not to let her see you!! Average...time from mating to laying eggs is 45 days!!
