6qt tub dripping from lid?
Didn't know if this question should be in breeding or husbandry...
Does your 6qt tub with eggs drip water from the lids(often or depending)? What's a good method on avoiding the drips from the top of the lid? I missed the drip tip, so help me out cause I'm kinda worried guys.
I remember last time it didn't drip from the lid down but the sides of the tubs in the inside did sweat a bit.
Thanks

Not sure of the answer to your question but, I have read that it is bad to have anything dripping on your eggs. Sorry I can't help with anything else.

I have tubs that develope condensation on the lids, I'm just careful when removing, to prevent the water from dripping on the eggs.

Re: 6qt tub dripping from lid?
I'm just wondering if water drop forms from the humidity in the 6qt tubs wen incubating, wondering if it happens alot or just depends if u over did it in the vermiculite. Trying to avoid the dripping on the eggs in case it does happen

It's normal for condensation to form. As long as it dosnt drip on the eggs it's fine. If water does drip on them wipe it off gently as soon as possible and it should be fine.

I have 4 tiny holes for venting in the sides of my tubs and I get zero condensation build up on my lids until the last week or so of incubating.
90% humidity is fine for hatching ball python eggs, they do not "need" 100% humidity which is probably what you have when your dripping from the lid.

I remember doing a hundred in humidity but it was towards the end so it didn't matter. So is 90% through out the whole incubation ok ?

My incubation tubs never hit 100% and are typically 88% to 92% and I have had zero mold issues so far since allowing my tubs to breath a little I've had a perfect hatch rate.
