While not fond of peids myself, and honestly believe any bp priced over $1k is over rated they're bp's no matter how their painted, I'm not saying they're not beautiful I just couldn't see paying so much for one. But that's just a hypocritical opinion, my dream (Red cheeked Eastern Indigo) runs easily $1200 - $2500.

It's all opinion, we're all entitled to it. But expressing that without insulting others requires a little tact. As well as treating someone like crap for stating their opinion.
A lot of this thread had good discussion right up to the point where people started attacking the op.

    Re: Pieds...ASTOUNDINGLY overrated.

I'm picking up a high white male pied tonight from my airport. Just maybe his picture will show up sometime tonight on this thread for all the piebald haters to see.

My most sincere apologies. Was attempting to "discuss" something that we can all relate to in one way or another, no big deal. My complete inability to be "offended" by anything always becomes debilitating when trying to get my point across in the most direct "to the point" way possible...I personally couldn't care less.

Conversation is supposed to be fun. Carry on.

I always saw pieds as overrated also, though I can see the appeal tho, but there's other morphs I'd rather be dealing with. Clown IMO is a way more stunning recessive pattern morph.

I'm honestly shocked I never saw that.... I figure people would be passing that picture around, I think my jaw literally dropped. Looks like i'm adding enchi to my collection.

    To each their own.

I find them visually pleasing. The aesthetic appeal, coupled with the unknown (i.e., the recent Caramel and Lemonblast Pieds...wow) keeps me enthusiastic about my current and future pied projects.

Just another turd to take a gander at But again, to each their own

I absolutely love pieds but not all of the combos. My very favorite to date though is this
Lemon blast pied produced very recently by Evan Stahl:

He sent this pic to me and I drooled for quite awhile on my phone.
I'm not a fan of spieds though. Kinda underwhelming. I do like a nice albino pied. But again to each his own.

I agree, Clowns are my favorite recessive. I'm definitely way more into co-doms...and Enchis are a must for everyone. I need to get a female or 2 myself.

While pieds are some of my favorite morphs, certain ones do absolutely nothing for me.

But a snake I cannot stand no matter what it's combined with ? Champagne.

I know it's heresy, but I think they are just about the ugliest ball morph in the world, and so are the combos. I wouldn't own one if you gave it to me. I don't even think I'd own a champagne pied if there were one.

But one persons trash is another persons treasure, and wouldn't life be boring if we were all just alike!
