Re: bull snake
I moved this thread into the proper forum for ya.
If she has regurged, I would not feed again for at least two weeks. You need to give the digestive system time to rebuild the right balance of stomach acids and bacteria that were lost in the regurge. If you feed too soon after, you can create a chain reaction of the snake not being able to keep food down.
I'm never a fan of housing snakes together. I don't know if that contributed to the regurge issue or not, but it can only help to separate them and keep them each in their own enclosure.
Double check your temps. Pits are sensitive to temps that get too warm, and that can cause regurge. One may be more sensitive than the other and if the temps got just a little too warm, the female showed signs of stress before the male did.
So, in a nutshell:
-- Separate the snakes into their own permanent enclosures
-- Double check your temps and make sure they are not too warm
-- Don't feed her again for at least two weeks...maybe even three weeks, if she has had multiple recent regurges.
Good luck with her!!

That would be really hard to answer, since none of us can smell it. However, I can assure you that snake poo in general smells like...well....poo. It's all stinky.

It would not hurt to pick up some Benebac which is a probiotic suitable for snakes. Your local Petco should carry it.
In two weeks, dust a small prey item in Benebac and feed her.
If she still can't keep the food down take her back to the vet. She could be suffering from gastritis.
While all pit poo stinks, especially eggy or cheesy feces are a sign that something isn't right.

All my pit feces suck horribly. When my big male goes I can smell him throughout the house.

Bull snakes are nothing.
One of the main reasons I built a building in our backyard for the snakes was because I keep cribos and indigos. That is the nastiest smelling snake crap on the planet.
After several years of those odors wafting about the house, my wife gave me an ultimatum. When those big boys and girls let go the paint just about comes off the walls.
