Video of movement in quail egg :)

I ended up with some quail eggs from somebody who ordered them in the mail, then found out their incubator isn't working. They're a couple weeks into their 21 days, and I've been keeping up with rotating them... but this is my first attempt at quail eggs, and I hear they can have a low success rate even under perfect cicumstances.

I've been candling the eggs and have been seeing many of them start to develop, but this one eggs blew me away. Got a video of movement inside the egg, and I'm just so excited about these eggs!

I think you pasted the wrong your link, but I found it on youtube:

That was cool seeing it move around. Almost looked like it was walking around in the egg looking for a way out... lol

Re: Video of movement in quail egg :)

I used to breed quail along time ago. I normally had good luck say 70-80 percent hatching out but that was with a GQF still air incubator and turner. The last 3 days you have to stop turning them and increase humidity a little. The breed determines how many days total. I had button, bobwhite and pharaoh quail. I know other types are harder to get to even breed much less get eggs to hatch.
If they make it out you will have to show them how to drink but they will drown themselves if water container is to deep. I used the one that fits a glass jar then you turn it over. I put marbles or rocks so they couldnt fall in.

Good luck hope they all hatch out
