Flies in my roach bins

Does anyone know of a way to get rid of flies in bins? I have about 6 fly catchers/strips in the room the bins are, but it isn't really affecting the population. I have thought about turning off the heat for a while, both the lats and dubia have been without heat before for a week plus without any deaths, but I don't know how much that would help, the flies are doing well at room temperature.
There are at least two different species of flies, both are tiny.
Any help would be appreciated.

Fly Traps

You can also make a fly trap easily with an old jelly or pickle jar. Simply poke some holds in the lid using a hammer and nail, ensuring the holes are just big enough for a fly to squeeze through. Put something stinky inside the jar and close the lid. You can pour a little syrup in the bottom, use jam or a piece of overripe fruit. Some people swear by wine, especially chardonnay. Flies will wiggle through the holes to get inside, but will not be able to get out.

I just bought two fly traps that are like that. Jar shaped, with holes on the side and a 'lure' pouch that smells like over ripe bananas. So far, I've caught 1 fly in them in the last 2 days. I just put them in the roach bins to see if it will catch more. I'm pretty sure I'm not dealing with fruit flies, they don't act like them.

The hanging fly strips catch them crazy fast, but it isn't going to stop anything but the annoying adults that buzz around outside the bins. I may try to take my roaches out of the bins, clean them out, and put them back. I'll keep them drier for a few weeks too so see if that helps.

I caught an escapee lat that had a whitish goop on her, similar to what phorid infestations leave in roach bins (from other threads I've read). The pics off google look like the flies I have too.
