    Dinker?

A friend of a friend has this snake and needs it gone. I told him probably not, but send pictures. To me, the snake looks very light. Clear belly (forgot to upload the pic). Any thoughts?

Supposedly it is a male because "he" has spurs I misplaced my probe kit and haven't learned how to pop. I don't have room for another dinker project unless the snake is a female. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance! Sorry for the picture quality, they weren't taken by me.

It's looks a bit like a browned out pastel to me from those pictures. If he isn't sure if it's male or female, best bet is that it's a male. Generally, people getting snakes from pet stores(or craigslist etc sellers who got them from pet stores) end up with males because male normals are usually a little cheaper than female normals.

Thanks. When I think of a browned out pastel, I think of this:

I guess they range in color just as much as any other morph.

Pastel.. looks more faded (dont confuse with Fader) than brown out.... If is for free I'll take Him/Her... I like pastels with nice solid black instead of blushing...

The build is likely due to the fact that the owner is feeding a small mouse once every 2 weeks. The poor snake is over 2 years old.

It is more or less free; he wants $75 for the snake plus a 55g tank. I have racks, so I could tell him to sell the cage for $50 and take the snake for $25. However, I REALLY do not need a male pastel. I don't really need a female pastel either, but a female with size is a female with size.

    Thanks again everyone.

My first thought to, but I am such a noob that my opinion shouldn't count!

I initially thought fire or vanilla, but haven't personally worked with either morph and didn't want to bias the thread. The pictures aren't clear enough. I want to see the snake in person, but I need to find my darn probes
