    'Berkshire' ASFs

Who on here has solid agouti ASFs? I know a few people do, but I'd like to know if you could take a look at them.

I have a line of agouti ASFs (solid) that have split off, one half developing a white belly spot, and the other half not. They also have white feet. . . This got me thinking it looks a lot like the Berkshire phenotype in rats.

Anywho, here's a photo, I'd just like to see if anyone else has any like this? I'm sure there around but nobody's been looking for it.

That's pretty neat! Unfortunately I no longer have solids. I was working on solid Agouti and Cinnamons before so I might have some in the freezer I can check .

I wish we had more diverse types here. I love the solids and "gremlin" patterns. If you create Berkshires with high white bellies that would be amazing!

Sorry, but that statement combined with the frowny face had me rolling for some reason. Carry on.

Jsmorphs if you'd check their bellies that would be great.
None of my cinnamons have the spot, its just in my agouti.

I'm gonna try to breed for it. There are at least 4 here with the spots.

Sure! I took some pics. Kind of strange photographing frozen rodents, lol, but here is what I had.

    Solid Cinnamons

One of their bellies had a slight white spot.

    Top view-

    Belly - poss white feet

Agouti Gremlin with some white on cheek - belly, looks like it has white feet as well

LOL! It's another name for Head Spot. But it's really more like a blaze. There are also Blazes with white cheeks. I was breeding for a nice clean blaze with no white on the body or cheeks.

Here are three phases of Gremlins I had:

I also had solids of all three but sold them off to Carl Veil when I moved and got rid of all my original colonies. I MIGHT have pictures of them on my portable hard drive. I'll see what I can find. I know I won't have belly pics though because I never thought to look .
