    back on the horse

well, eating better has been hit or miss - being on vacation has led to some very greasy meals out on the town.

However, I have managed to get back into daily exercise (weight lifting, calisthenics, and cardio) and already feel much much better about myself.

the eating part has been a struggle....ugh.

    Re: back on the horse

I hear ya on that struggle, Jen! In the midst of this move, it's just not something I want to struggle with at all...so I'm not. Doesn't stop the self-flagellation that sometimes follows, though.

Seriously though, every step in the journey is a success. They don't have to be perfect steps...so long as we keep moving.

    welcome back, muscle tone!

really having trouble dealing with work-related bs and stress
thinking of trying meditation for it
and trying to focus on the idea that I am more than my work product. my self image doesn't need to be on the line whenever someone is critical of my work. yeah, sounds good don't it. LOL

having a ball getting back into shape. bought a Cybex Arc Trainer and it's great. Also started running again after probably 10 years of not running. Turns out its like falling off a log and boy does it feel good. I really missed it. Making quick progress.
Dunno if I lost much weight yet - haven't been weighing myself - but it will come. Experience taught me back when I ran a lot that running and fatness are pretty much incompatible so the weight will fall.
Cut back on snacking unless I'm STARVING and I'm sure that helps.
