    cant decide!

So i'll be getting my first two BP's Shortly after I get a rack built! Spending around $1000ish Canadian on two. Trying to think ahead to breeding time and what would be best

I like the lighter coulored BP's like bumblee bee's, Butters, Super pastals, super blast, ect..

my first idea was a Male bumblee bee and female pastal, to try and produce killerbees if thats how?

but im unsure if I want to go this route.

can you guys offer some suggestions based on the type of BP's I like.

    Thanks

I personaly love the bumblebee's, i dont own any yet, but 1 day i will, but ya pick out the ones you really really like and decide from there, you can always add onto your collection to breed the higher or more complicated stuff later, but for noww, id say get the ones you really love first.

well you'll have the super pastel covered, and you'll also gets some bumblebee's so theres another morph you wanted haha, i personally have a Normal female and my gf just bought my a male pastel hatchling yesterday. He's briiightt yellow. but my plans are to breed them together, then eventually if i get a female pastel out of the clutch, breed to pastel and bam a super pastel! lol and i want a spider too so i can get some bee's

If you have the room and time you can get a bumble bee male for $3-400 and a hatchling female pastel, spider, and pinstripe for around $200 each. There is your $1000, and 3 starter females to get you going in a few years. If you have a little room you can get breeder size normal femles for $100 each and bred to a bumble bee male you can still make bumble bees, maybe even get a female out of it!

If I had $1000, I would buy a 2 Gene Male (Bumble Bee) for me, and either buy up some normal breeder females, or 1 Pastel Breeder Female. Either way you make a few clutches of Bumble Bee x Normal babies, or with the Pastel Female, have a chance and making a Killer Bee. It just all depends on how many clutches you have room for, you gotta put those babies somewhere.

    Just my $0.02

    Re: cant decide!

Judging from your username, I'm guessing you're in Alberta Just like me

Everyone has made some great suggestions, although the morphs in Canada are a bit pricier. The Western Canadian Reptile Expo is in August and there are going to be many breeders there. If you wanted to get some older animals, you could try contacting them and making a deal. Usually there aren't too many high end stuff for sale for a decent price, especially for good quality animals. If I could make a suggestion, fire makes everything awesome.
