First clutch of the year is out for us! Nothing super exciting morph wise, but it IS a dinker clutch. This clutch comes from a wild caught female bred back to her son who had an odd look to him as a hatchling.
And this is the unlucky neonate who died in the egg sometime before absorbing any yolk...
This pairing from 2008 was my first clutch with her. The male was a het pied.
Resulted in this clutch:
The photo isn't all that great, and it was taken after their first shed, but the two 'different' looking ones were the female in the upper left, and the male in the lower right. They had a cleaner/brighter look to them.
This year, I bred her back to the male that I held back from the 2008 clutch...
Things seem to be following the expected ratios for some sort of co-dom gene, but it very well could just be a coincidence or case of me seeing what I hope to see.
So the question is, what do YOU see?
