Reptile Expo in Southern Mississippi?!?
So I've been kicking around the idea of trying to start a yearly expo in southern Mississippi. There aren't many expos around here and there are much MUCH less strict rules and regulations than say Florida shows. I've heard the new Myrtle Beach show in SC is "The new Daytona" but what about all of us in the deep south?
Im looking to have one in Biloxi MS. Very nice city with plenty to do for all plus if your a little short on cash for a reptile you like you can walk down the street to the many casinos and put it all on Black (or red)
Please if anyone could give me some tips or pointers for starting a new expo it would be highly appreciated. I'm not in this to make money Id be happy breaking even and just getting some breeders to come down here.
Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks

I think this is a great idea
I'm 17 and I am very interested in reptiles. I've been studying herpetology on my own now for around two years. I would love to be able to attend an expo locally. I think you have a wonderful idea. Also I am interested in buying a baby argentine black and white tegu. If you have any advice or facts about this species I would much appreciate it. If the expo happens I would love to help out.

Re: Reptile Expo in Southern Mississippi?!?
Interesting idea. There are probably herp clubs and organizations in your area or nearby that could help get this started. Also check with local pet stores, vets, and feed stores that could give you more contacts. Good luck!

I'm from South MS and I think this would be an excellent idea! I know of a couple of breeders that I have met that aren't too far from here that I think would be interested. Also I would love to help out in any way that I could...PM me for the details of the breeders and I would love to hear your ideas for location and what not...hope to hear from you soon!

So I guess this never worked out? I live in the Jackson area and I've always hated how mississippi never has anything like this.
