shed
hey guys quick question my snake shed for the first time since ive had him and before the shed he was eating normal and seemed quite happy now after the shed he seems stressed is this normal?

What do you mean seems stressed?
Is he not eating?
Roaming around a lot, etc..?
They can be grumpy and irritable during a shed and may refuse food, but after a shed they should go back to their "normal" selves.

Perfectly normal. Just give him his space and keep the humidity up and he'll be back to normal soon.

When the shed they can't see because there is an oil that builds up in between their new, and old "skin." The oil blocks the snakes eye site, you can see this when they turn blue. So they just use the heat pits to see something warm coming and become defensive. It's perfectly normal for a snake to refuse food, and be a little grumpy.
