Which morph is this?

I know that I'm being a pain in the --- with all my questions, but I just want to know if anyone out there knows which morph this is, Her father is a Super Enchi and her mother is an african imported normal.. so it should be an enchi but it isn't, give me your thoughts and opinions

If the breeder is certain that the father was a super-enchi, then my only guess would be that the mother had retained sperm from a previous breeding (either in his collection or from the wild). That snake looks normal to me.

Should be an enchi but it's not means the super enchi didn't sire the clutch, as Judy says maybe it retained from a previous breeding.

I am 100% certain that the snake isn't normal, she doesn't have the normal charachteristics and she has a very bright forehead which looks similar to the one of a Pastel. And if you look at the pattern you can see that she doesn't have any normal pattern at all, the colour is more similar to the one of a desert or something than a normal and her mother has never been bred before by any other snake than a super enchi. since she was imported when she was a juvenile.

I don't claim to be an expert, but I don't see anything other than normal here either...

Patterns in normals can vary so widely from banded patterns with no spots at all to extremely busy looking wild type patterns. Some have high blushing (such as the light spot on the head in your pictures), some have little to none. The only way to know 100% for sure would be to have bred them yourself or to try to prove something out genetically.

Hi,

Perhaps you can take some pictures showing the head and belly for us?

He head definately doesn't look like a pastels and I have several normals with paler markings on the head that look to be similar to yours from the first pic.

I'm also sorry to say her colour isn't outside the normal range in those photo's either - and definately not a deserts colour.

If the female has only ever been bred to a super enchi and that popped out I'd be thinking either parthenogenesis or ( much more likely ) the super enchi wasn't a super.

Can you gets pics of the super enchi sire?

I see normal, but I can also see why you may not think it is. the neck pattern is pretty neat to me.

Maybe its a chimera and the enchi gene isn't showing.

IMO thats what a paradox is, a snake with 2 separate strands of DNA exhibiting both traits (normal and albino for example.)
