Depends how your feeding. You will know if your over feeding if you start to see the pin head effect. Boas are the easiest snake to over feed and get bigger than they should.
Just feed steady and not large meals. Most adults will barely ever take large to xl rats weekly and thats plenty

Yeah, Im actually probably feeding meals that are a little small. I heard to go by the 10% (Powder weighs 475 grams, 10% of 475 = 47.5 grams) rule with boas and im only giving her 30 - 40 gram rats (proper meal size would be 45 - 50 grams)
So im deff not over feeding. I am also feeding her every 8 days instead of 7 or 9, just cuz its in the middle I cna transition to 9 days easier when I need to
(Oh also, forgot to mention she hasnt poo'd in a month or two.. so shes a little bigger around because of that)
Thanks!

Boas are ones that hold in their poops for a long time till its one big nasty one.
Just feed slow and steady. Ive seen some massive boas who are way over weight.

Will do 8 days inbetween is perfect for a 8 - 9 month old boa isnt it? I have heard to switch to 9 - 10 days inbetween at 1 year and a half - 2 years of age
I will make sure she isnt over or under fed
thanks!
