    Surprise Snow

A couple of weeks ago, we woke up to a surprising winter wonderland outside. Perfect, fluffy snow!

Mira enjoying the snow on the deck. Not the best focus, but I liked the picture anyhow.

As the sun came up, the first rays strike Pike's Peak before anything else...

Wow. We just got snow here this morning. I thought spring was here !

Anyways, love your photos and LOVE your dog.

I plan on practicing with my camera alot this summer, I would love if i could get some shots like that (without the snow of course) !

Nice view. Looks like you could see forever up there.

Thanks! I've lived most of my life in the south or southwest...so even as old as I am, snow is still a treat for me. I had fun getting pictures of it.

Thanks, Jeff! I couldn't believe how beautiful that morning was...or how fast the scenery changed with the light. I took about 250 pictures that morning!
