It gets pretty cold out here in NY,what can i do to heat up the viv for now, anything please i love my reptiles. Do you have anyidea when the power will come back on as well, and for those of you wondering how i am on the web i am on my laptop.

It sounds like you need to flip the breaker.

check the circuit breakers or if you have fuses one may be blown. 74f is not that cold they will be fine at that temp for a while no problem.
If no breakers are tripped or fuses blown then you will have to call an electrician to look at the circuit in question.

check your fuse panel, sounds like you blew the outlet fuse.

This got me thinking if this were to happen again, but with a black out(hope not), i would be unprepared so today i am going to try and some type of heat source that does not need a plug that could be used in emergency situations, like this http://toolmonger.com/2008/01/04/hea...-hand-warmers/ , hopefully i can find some and use it ever something ever came up(ounce again hope not), i said this like 100 hundred times, but again thank you so much!
