Before and after tank pics... did I do okay?

First of all, I could have sworn there was a forum just for tank photos. Did I make that up? If this is the wrong forum, apologies.

Anyway, I "rescue/adopted" a young ball python who was being kept in a room with no heat or food or (apparently) water or a real lid. This is how the tank looked when I got him, after I desperately added a few things I had on hand.

This is his tank after all my stuff arrived today, a little under a week later.

There's an UTH on one side with a thermostat, a digital thermometer/hygrometer (not turned on when I took the photo), two identical hides on the cool and warm side, a day heat light and a night heat light (not sure how I feel about having a light stand though...) and I have some moss I could add if the humidity is too low because of the screen top. I do have a mister though. (As in a spray bottle, not a boyfriend, ha.) And there's the waterfall which should help. Oh, and I have lid clips.

Did I do okay? Please be gentle, he's my first snake ever and I just want to make sure I do it right.

    Great transformation, well done!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

Looks great! I do have to say one thing though. The acurite you are using is not a probed one. You need a probed one like the acurite 00891 for the uth. You have to put the probe of the one I mentioned under the substrate on top of glass over the uth to get the correct temp. The one you have is just measuring ambient which isn't giving the correct temp of your uth. Unless you have an ir temp gun that you were able to check the temp under the substrate.
