    My snake

I'm new to the forum so I figured I'd show off my little Mojave. He's my first snake and I love him to death, still not sure if I'm going to breed him though and if I was I wouldn't know what to breed him with lol.

Also I think I need to post once before I can do pictures so pics will be in the next post lol.

    Re: My snake

The pics probably aren't very good, first time using a good camera with him and his first real "mini" photo shoot so he was rather uncooperative.

    Tell me what you think.

    Here he is!:

Welcome to the forum and that's a handsome Mojave. Good luck with him.

I'm sorry but that looks like a normal to me. If anybody else thinks it is please assure me. I don't want to be mean, just telling it how it is. If he is a normal, he's absolutely gorgeous!

    Re: My snake

As far as I can tell he seems to have the "Mojave" markings on his face, the lines over his eyes and such. The woman I got him from on another forum was a regular seller and had a good rep with the community so I trust her when she says he's a mojave.

This is what a mojave should look like. You are entitled to your own opinion of course, as am I. If you don't mind me asking, who is the breeder?

    Re: My snake

Her name is Brittany Williams from FaunaClassifieds. She just recently moved to Florida from Washington.

Your mojave just seems to be brighter than my little guy, that's the only difference I see really.

    Re: My snake

Hmm. Post some pictures of his eyes. His eyes should have a light hue at the top. As for the stripe through the eyes, most ball pythons have those. Normals as well. Your snake doesn't have the "keyhole" pattern like mojaves do. His is banded/reduced.

While he is very handsome, I have to agree with swalters. There is a marked difference between a mojave and a normal.

First, my mojave girl. Second, my normal male. (Sorry, bad pics.)
