Week 6 Weight Watchers Weigh In Results

Another week on the books, and I'm down 1.4 lbs today for a total of 19.6 lbs gone! I'm "this" close to 20 lbs, that I wish I didn't drink that cup of coffee this morning! LOL

    Next week - next week!

After the meeting, I treated my friend and neighbor Julie to Mexican for lunch, because she helped me de-clutter yesterday. I hardly even recognize my home now! Next week we'll be doing the bedroom and closet!

Think I'm going to pan sear some scallops for dinner with some Laughing Cow cheese made into a creamy, cheesy sauce on it. In fact, I think I'll make two batches so I can have some for lunch tomorrow! Mmmmmm! They were on sale at Aldi's (we stopped there too).

Got home and we decided to pack up the dogs and take them to the dog park since it's so pretty out. Didn't get much done today in the way of cleaning, but we did a LOT yesterday - at least 10 large garbage bags were tossed into the dumpster. I'm so glad she came and helped - I'm not a hoarder, I just get so overwhelmed, I don't even know where to start attacking clutter. My home feels so free now! She basically stood there and held the bags open while I kept tossing everything! LOL

Re: Week 6 Weight Watchers Weigh In Results

First, congrats on the weight loss. I know that weight loss is not an easy task to accomplish. Second, another congrats on getting thing in order at home. It is very easy to let a mess get carried away, and become overwhelming. It is always great to have a friend their to help keep everyone on track and to help over come the feeling of being overwhelmed...

Re: Week 6 Weight Watchers Weigh In Results

Congrats on the loss. Twenty pounds is quite an accomplishment. I know what you are saying about a cluttered house. When my house gets cluttered I get a little depressed. Then I make myself get out and start throwing things out. There are always things lying around that do not get used anymore. I don't even know why I keep half the stuff. When I moved from into my new house, which was quite a bit smaller than my old house, my only rule was that the house was to be free of clutter, oh and it had to have a dishwasher.

BTW, I love pan-seared jumbo shrimp. I sear them in a little olive oil, and season them with old bay. I usually serve them with brown rice. Mmmmm.
