I guess I could say I'm 99% sure it's a pewterbelly. It was from a black pastel/YB x pastel breeding. But the characteristics that make me think this are:
1) It has some very light speckling up the side of the belly but nothing extreme like a normal YB.
2) I can see the pattern of a black pastel YB in this guy. The dark color within the alien heads encompasses more area than normally seen in regular pewters. I've noticed this characteristic with almost all of my black pastel YBs that I've produced thus far. My other normal pewters I produced had more slender, vertical looking alien heads also.
3) The color on this guy was is much lighter and faded than his 3 pewter clutchmates. He has a washed out look that seems to be getting more noticeable the bigger he gets whereas all of my other pewters produced this year have a more crisp, clean pattern with much more contrasting shades and colors.
Like I said, I'm 99% sure he has yellowbelly in him but I guess I'll find out for sure next year when I breed him.
Thanks
Tom
