    Inactive Hognose

I got my western hognose about 3 months ago and he has eaten just about every week since. I recently upgraded him to fuzzies, and it may take him awhile to down it, he get them down and has now eaten 2 of them over the past 3 weeks.

I noticed he is extremely inactive a couple days after eating the mouse which I understand.

I clean the waste out when necessary but this past week he has pretty much stayed in a corner in the hot side. This is not like him. He is usually pretty active or under the substrate.

Anyone think something may be wrong?

    Shed time might be approaching.

    Re: Inactive Hognose

It could also be that your temperatures have dropped too low? Just double check husbandry. If everything's right, then he might be going into shed as was stated above.
