quick question I ordered all my hide spots from reptile basics. Was wondering do you recommend them in tubs where do you place them normal due to in tanks its usually one in hot one in cold.

With smaller snake's I usally give them one hide on the hot side of the tub. Bigger snake's I give the them two hides on both sides, one on hot and one on cool side. That's just what I do.

in tubs, a lot of people don't even use hides since it's covered on all sides AND the roof is not lit. the tub is already a dark enclosure for him to hide in. i have hides in my tubs though, and i use them the same way. one on the hot side - one on the cold side.

lol the funny thing is, my oldest BPs just drag their hides to one side or the other.. i keep the other hide in there anyways lolllll

In tubs I only give hides to finicky eaters otherwise no hides.
My best eaters have never had hides.
