typical under estimation of their chewing...HELP!!!!
So I under estimated their chewing speed and capabilities so needless to say I have lost one in my breeding room.... the room is 4x8 so its not that big but with all that is in there there's a lot of hiding places so my question is, is there a way to try and lure her out or a way to catch her or do I just hope she doesn't eat her way into the wall? Any advice is welcomed and thanked.

go buy sticky traps and lay them all over the room with food on them.
If you catch it do not toss it back into the breeding groups. You dont know what i has come in-contact with and could cause problems.
how are your setups like. Ive never had anything chew out before even the ASF

So never back in with group or just wait a month and put back in with group? And it was stupidity on my part... kind of hard to explain but long story short didn't push tub in all the way which gave room for some chewing to happen...

I put mine back into the group, There wasn't much for it to get into in my condo, no pesticides etc.

Youd be surprised what they get into in one night that when put back into the group could cause them to never breed again or die off

Its not worth it to put the breeder back in the tub. I wouldn't personally do it unless its the only breeder group you have and its your last resort...

I have had many mice escape, and I have returned them to their tanks imediately after capture with a live havahart style trap.
I have never had a problem with them bringing anything back into the colony.
I don't think you should be worried about it, and if you are, just set her up in her own cage for a while

Have to disagree with this one.. anytime I have a rodent on the loose, it is killed and thrown out. Keep in mind, many of us have snakes that are simply worth way too much to even begin to risk feeding a rodent that has been exposed to god knows what.
To the OP:
Victor Power Snap works best for ASF's. ASF's have absolutley no common sense when it comes to these traps. You will catch em the first night 99% of the time. use peanut butter for the bait.
