    I'm not a expert but...

...I think I may have saved two BP's today! Poor guy and gal.....I responded to a Craigslist add about two BP's to a good home. So, being a member of the PNWHS I know we take in snakes to be adopted. Well, our society has so many BP's they aren't really taking in any BP's. So, I got in contact with the owner and we emailed back and forth. Well, today I went to pick up the two BP's. They are normal BP's. I'll give you the sizes and then explain the condition I found them in! The male is about 3 feet and weighed in at 697g. The female is 3 1/2 feet and weighed 1005g. Not sure how old they are and not bad sizes. EXCEPT for the fact they were being housed together in a 20 gal short fish tank. I was like WHAT???????????? Well, I have the female in a 40 gal breeder and have the male in the 20 gal for now. They are both in the middle of a bad shed and haven't ate in 3 weeks. So, I still tried to feed them before I put them in QT. The female ate a medium rat but the male wouldn't eat. Once they're done shedding I will take some pictures to post. Thanks for reading.

Good on ya! I hate that people can actually mistreat an animal they originally wanted enough to get.
