Update on my BP's status and some new pics!

I had posted about a 2 weeks or so ago about my 2 1/2 month old weighing in at just 63 grams. Her previous owner had been way under feeding her. Well I am happy to say she hit the 80 gram mark today! She is doing so well!

Here are some new pics. She still has some shed left on her head and I have tried every suggestion given on her ( wet pillow case, wet Qtip, tape) and no dice. It doesn't seem to bother her in the least so I am hoping it will just come off next shed with no issues .

Waiting on lunch! She could smell the mousey across the room!

My youngest son. It is supposed to be his snake, but I think mom and dad kind of asserted our "parental control" and took over ( or otherwise known as mom and dad fell in love and son gets the next BP we get! )

That's good to hear! Just FYI, never use tape to get shed off a snake. It can seriously injure the snake.

Stuck shed on the head can be very irritating, due to the eye caps. If it won't come off with soaking then I'd wait til the next shed.

Her eye caps seemed to have came off with no issue. As for the tape, on advice from someone on here, I did try it ONCE. One attempt and done. I wasn't 100% sure it was a good idea so I didn;t want to try it more then that.

Like I said, she seems to be ok with it. Temps are great, humidty is great. So here's hoping her next shed goes smooth!

If the temps and humidity are right. No doubt the next shed will be good.

What a beautiful little girl, now keep feeding her and keep the humidity up as high as possible, that's going to help the most.

    Thanks for rescuing her though!!

It really depends on the snake. You'll learn soon that there are so many different variations in normals.

I'd love to see a belly pic! We love belly pics here

    Very nice!

Pretty much all normals/morphs have pure white bellies. Its the black speckling that varies. I only have one that doesn't have a pure white belly, she has a yellow tinged belly.
