    thanks for the compliments. i am using a 46 gallon bow front tank. i had a few problems with the heat on such a large tank, but i put uth's under each side and use a dimmer to keep propper cool side/high side heat with a heat light to help with the ambient air temp. as far as the hides go, i went to a local creek, gathered a bunch of cool looking rocks. i scrubbed them down real good, then baked them at 350 degrees for an hour and a half. i stacked them so there was a "cave" in each hide. i used a hot glue gun to make sure the rocks were secure. spot sure seems to like it.
