    Lace Picture Request

I saw the two pics of a lace ball on world of ball pythons, and noticed that it kinda looks a bit like my boy. Just wanted to see if anybody else has pictures so I can try to pick out the differences.

    Thanks

I knew lace wasn't very popular, but it can't be that nobody has a picture of a lace, can it?

    Re: Lace Picture Request

Are you talking about the new VPI axanthic looking morph? I thought it was called "black lace" but I haven't heard much about it since it was first introduced a few years ago and didn't find any available or any pics in VPI's gallery. I do seem to remember someone posting that they had bought some of those animals from VPI so hope there are multiple people working to eventually establish that morph. Sort of looks like VPI is concentrating on other species lately.

I've seen the black lace, it's pretty cool, but on world of ball pythons it says "Lace" and has pictures, and I'd never heard of it before, thought it was just an AKA of the VPI black lace but its not.

    Re: Lace Picture Request

The reason that the Lace isn’t more popular is because very few people have the gene. Once a few more people have it and start breeding it into other morphs I think it is going to be extremely popular. I believe CV Exotics was the first to prove it out and you can see pictures of them at the following two links.

Kevin from NERD talks about the gene in one of Raphy’s new YouTube videos also. George Sampson from Morph Madness talks about getting his in the following thread.

When I was reading this post I also thought its about the black lace. This is a good find. Great links, thanks Albey. Cant wait to see the Lace mixed to other morphs.
