    Question about normal female prices

So, how much extra are you willing to pay or trade for a very NICE BIG female? If she's a normal? And, would you say an 1800 gram is worth a lot more than say, 1100? (I'm expecting yes!) I'm not selling anything, just want to get an idea of what is a reasonable price range before I start thinking about getting myself another girl.

    thanks!

A norm female that weighs 1800 grams would go for $80 to $120. If the 1100 gram girl is hott I'd go for her she probably has more upside to her and hasn't been bred yet. I wouldn't sell a 1800 gram girl if she layed 7 to 8 eggs every year.

Re: Question about normal female prices

I normally sell proven breeder females about that size for $100 - $125.

$100 is fair market price for a "ready to breed" sized normal female, but like with anything you can charge anywhere from $75-$150, this just depends on how fast you want to sell, and how often you have the opportunity.

Neat! I'm looking at an 1800 gram virgin that is a possible het pied. It's a pretty snake even if she is just a normal, so I'm trying to decide how much I'd offer. I know a lot of people don't consider poss hets worth any more than normals, but I'm willing to bump the price a little for that since she's big enough to go this season since she'll take no time at all to prove out!

When we let our big normal females go it's $75-100ea depending on size and if they are proven or not. When it comes to a poss. het sometimes it may add to the price but not always. Don't pay for something it may not be. If it's not proven and is only pos. het to me it's a normal and I pay for a normal. But that's just me. Good luck!!

Yeah, that was my logic. I DO love her pattern, it is very clean and unusual, so I'm considering paying a little more because of that. I've heard a lot about not paying extra for poss hets, and that makes sense to me!

    thanks all!

I'd pay a bit more for a possible het pied especially if it's something you want.. Don't want the opportunity to go away! If she proves, great! If not, then that's alright to. You still have a breedable normal.
