Bobwhite quail care help?!!?

FIRST OFF I KNOW I SHOULDN'T BROUGHT AN ANIMAL HOME WITHOUT KNOWING HOW TO CARE FOR IT I KNOW BETTER THAN THAT IM SORRY I FEEL SO DUMB FOR LETTING THE CUTESNESS OF THE BIRD MADE ME BUY IT SO IF U GONNA CHEW ME OUT OK AHEAD
i brought home a quail today i had one when i was younger an when i seen them it just brought me back to my childhood plus i'm always lonely at home i needed a second pet so i need to know a few things about them first thing can they stay outside in winter i have a coop second thing how big those it get third i think i have a bobwhite quail how do i tell the different i need a site with all the info about them but i really need to know about them staying outside what kind of heat do they need are they hard to care for in general its a pet I've had a cockateil before but thats nothing like this my cockateil i knew everything about i had time to research on it but this i got for 3 bucks an i know what your gonna say just please help me.
