    My Veiled Cham Died :(

Today My 2+ year old veiled chameleon Kush died. He showed no signs of sickness until he started getting lethargic 30 hours before he passed... I'm really upset and I'm worried it had to do with me switching him to Goliath worms 3 weeks ago, they weren't big at all so I don't know what the problem coulda been, he ate them no problem. the only other thing I can imagine is my room got decently cold the other night, but not much more than usual, maybe 65* and there's a heat source right next to the Cham's reptarium, it couldn't have gone under 70, my usual temps are 90* hot spot, 78 cold side, and 80-74 at night... But only at the end did he show signs of a URI... I couldn't picture it getting deadly within 48 hours, then again who knows, they're very delicate

This is 26 hours prior to death

    10 hours prior

He's always been very healthy, active, great eater, cage aggressive, all the normal Cham activities... This really caught me off guard... I've never even let him get get dehydrated

    I'm honestly depressed over this

wow that is just terrible ...I am so sorry to hear this. We keep our house at 76-78 degrees just because of all the reptiles. Drives my hubby crazy when the bills come in..but I would rather pay that bill than the dr. bill...

Again I am so sorry to hear that happened....he was beautiful.
